He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Rusk and Etna Rusk; his brothers, Robert and Gayle Rusk; and his sisters-in-law, Chris and Beverly Rusk.
He is survived by: his son Bradley Everett; his wife Glenda Rusk (Harvey-Shankland) of Derby; his son Brad Rusk (Kecla); his grandchildren, Keverett of Sidney, Nebraska, Kileya of Sidney, Nebraska and Brayeshla of Sidney, Nebraska; and his stepsons, Jason Shankland (Angela Criser) of Wichita, Kansas and Doug Shankland of Denver, Colorado..
