She was predeceased by: her parents, Verner Overfield and Rose Overfield (Gladhart); her husband Carl Lear; and her daughter-in-law Debra Lear. She is survived by: her sister Marian Curtis of Eudora, KS; her sons, Jim (Sheryl) and John Lear of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Jessica Ezell (Jeremy Enns), Andrew Lear of Hiawatha, Anna Johnson (Jeremiah) of Lawrence, KS, Caleb Lear of Horton and Tessa Lear (Derek Wilke) of Kansas City, MO; her great grandchildren, Ruth and Ronen Johnson; her stepgranddaughters, Ashley and Samantha Rudder; and her nieces and nephews, Larry Curtis, Cynthia Petrehn, Bonnie Reetz, Jerry Bryan and Bea Pray.
