He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Merl Pitts; and his siblings, Melford Pitts and Jean Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Lisa Osborn (Todd) and Daaron Pitts (Tina); and his brother Glen Dale Pitts.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Baxter Springs, KS.
