It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Clabe Ferneau of Riverton, Kansas, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Brown; and his son Jesse Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Gwenda Scott; his children, Jake Ferneau of Strafford, MO, Rayden Lindsey, Kelly Rhuems of Galena, KS, Michaela Tackett (David) of Galena and Abriana Ferneau of Joplin; and his siblings, Scott Cash of Overland Park, KS, Jeff Ferneau of Ozark, MO, Debbie Parker of Joplin and Teresia Bunting of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
