With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeline JoAnn Pennock of Riverton, Kansas, born in Baxter Springs, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Wayne Pennock; her children, Elizabeth Christina Scott and Danny Alan Pennock; her sisters, Christina Jane Dyson and Viola Marie Walters; and her half-brothers, Lee Roy Breedlove and Charlie Breedlove.
She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Pennock; her sister Freda Brown of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Amanda Williams (Nate) of Galena, KS, Alayna Pennock of Miami, OK, Madalynne Pennock and Roman Péna of Columbus, KS; her great grandchildren, Olivia Williams of Galena, KS, Kyleigh Williams of Galena, KS, Katelyn Hill of Baxter Springs, KS, Joshua Hill of Baxter Springs, KS and Dominic Hill of Baxter Springs, KS; her siblings-in-law, Joe "Pepper" Pennock of Riverton, KS and Barbara Pennock of Riverton, KS; her aunt Sue Smith of Lowell; and her friends, Barbara Pennock, Ila Gipson, Joan Lee, Sue Robinson, Carolyn Price and Peggy Jones.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring River Assembly of God (5946 SE Varck Rd, Riverton, KS 66770). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
