He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lee and Dorothy Madden (Hodges). He is survived by: his sister Brenda (Ed Onstott); his children, Melissa and Scott; his wife Sue Madden (Barr) of Joplin, Missouri.; his sister Judy Heatherly (late Jack Heatherly) of Quapaw, Oklahoma.; his brother-in-law Ed Onstott of Lamar, Missouri.; his child Missy; his children-in-law, Tim Swob of Joplin, Missouri. and Stacy Madden of Carl Junction, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah Swob of Joplin, Missouri..
