Gary Hanna Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Hanna (Riley, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Hanna to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bonar and Evelyn Ruth Hanna (Yarrow). He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Dye; his children, Stephanie Allen (Leonard) of Hoyt, Jeremy Hanna (Mary) of Indianapolis and Brady Hanna (Lindsay) of Shawnee; and his grandchildren, Hanna Allen, Tyler Hanna, Molly Allen, Steven Hanna, Hailey Hanna and Henry Hanna.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home (303 S Broadway St, Riley, KS 66531). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Riley County U.S.D. 378 Foundation, to establish a scholarship fund for future graduating seniors.
