She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Specht and Myrtle Specht (Simnitt); her husband Dean L. Diskau; her siblings, Leland Specht, Ila Simons, Kaye Blodgett and Shirley Higgins; and her brothers-in-law, Walter Simon, Duane Higgins and Warren Blodgett.
She is survived by: her daughter Constance Diskau (Connie) of Riley; her grandsons, Jarrod Wege Sr. (Jennifer) of Manhattan and Robert A. Wege (Heather) of Newton; her great grandchildren, Jarrod Wege Jr., Jenna Wege, James Wege of Manhattan and Lakin Wege of Newton; her sister Beverly Sundgren (Eldon) of Leonardville; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Specht of Topeka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leonardville Nursing Home and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
