She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Burkman and Fern Burkman (Miller); her husband Kenneth Leroy Hanson; her sons, Stephen and Karl Hanson; and her siblings, Carolyn Bailey, Diana Bergman and Bill Burkman.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Hanson, Jr. (Debbie) of Salina, Christine Marshall (Cullen) of Solomon, John Hanson (Lee Ann) of Baldwin City and Julie Weidenhaft (Brandon) of Hays; and her brother Jim Burkman of Tennessee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Valley Foundation and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
