She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Schmoe and Rozella Schmoe (McCann); and her siblings, Donnie Nichols, Dorothy Gilpin, Homer Schmoe and Floyd Schmoe.
She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth Matteson; her children, Chesley "Chet" Lee (Jane) of Richmond, John Lee (Lora) of Richmond, Mark Lee of Richmond, Barbara Owen (Larry) of Ottawa and Edward Lee (Sherry) of Lawrence; and her siblings, George Schmoe of Ottawa, Merlin Schmoe of Ottawa, Dale Schmoe of Ottawa, Gladys Butter of Ottawa, Hazel Guyett of Ottawa, Myrtle Bones of Ottawa, Virgie Sink of Ottawa, Jean Jones of Ottawa, Janette Milbern and Audra Detwiler of Richmond. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
