It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry West Sr. of Richmond, Kansas, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jerry had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jerry may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn West; and his siblings, Georgia Splain and Johnny West. He is survived by: his son Jerry West III (Megan) of Garnett; his grandchildren, Elijah and Hexleigh; and his siblings, Jackie Palmer of Overland Park, Jo-Dee Mueller of Overland Park and Janice Vanlerberg (Bernie) of Bonner Springs, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Feuerborn Family Funeral Service - Garnett (219 S Oak St, Garnett, KS 66032).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left in care of the funeral home.
