It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Irvin Rockers of Richmond, Kansas, born in Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Rockers and Margaret "Marge" Rockers (Katzer); his son-in-law Shawn Teagarden; his sister Sarah Riekena; his brother-in-law James Foltz; his niece Lynneda Martin; and his nephew Luke Rockers.
He is survived by: his former wife Gloria Smith; his wife Cindy Meier of Lawrence; his children, Troy (Ann Rockers), Wes (Renee Rockers), Randa Teagarden of Garnett and Jarod Rockers of Richmond, Kansas; his siblings, Linda (LeWayne Rothers), Lois Foltz, Bernie (Michelle Rockers), Omer Rockers, Marcia (Dave Herrman), Kurt (Mindy Rockers) and Carl Rockers; and his brother-in-law Tom Riekena. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four step grandchildren.
