We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Opal Thompson (Republic, Kansas), born in Jewell, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Loomis and Nellie Bly Loomis (Dye); her siblings, Ora, Donald, Jack, Ethel, May, Lucille, Alice, Pearl and Esther; her husband Floyd Thompson; and her granddaughter Teresa.
She is survived by: her children, Dixie Marie (Dennis Barnes) of Clyde, Tom Scot (Cindy Thompson) of Norway, Linda Lambert of Fairbury and Bret Thompson of Concordia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Opal Thompson Memorial, to be designated at a later date.
