It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Jumet of Rantoul, Kansas, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Jumet and Anna M. Jumet (Roeser); his siblings, Gene Jumet, Ethel Coleman, Rose Mattson and Mable E. Jumet; and his daughter-in-law Cassie Jumet.
He is survived by: his wife Julia; and his sons, Mike Jumet (Tara) of Colony, Steve Jumet (Pam) of Osawatomie, Dan Jumet (Amy) of Olathe and John Jumet (Stephanie) of Richmond, Kansas. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
