He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Roths and Anna Roths (Albers); his wife Joan Marie Hilmes; his sons, Steven and Tom Roths; his son-in-law Jim Walker; and his great grandchild Jacoby Cool.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Roths (Cindy) of Ransom, Mary Ann Davis (Les) of Scott City, Carol Walker of Ransom and Diane Reddig (Dave) of Manhattan; his daughter-in-law Chris Chaney of Arnold; and his sister Irene Hazen of Grinnell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
