He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wayne and Jessie Ann Scott (Petty); his grandchildren, Kyle Scott and Chantelle Scott; and his nephew Todd Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Scott; his children, Kent Scott of Ottawa, Craig Scott of Ransom and Karen Story (Alvin) of Grain Valley, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tracy Proffer (Kyle), Kelly Morris (Darrell), Chailyn Scott, Aaron Story and Andrew Story; his great grandchildren, Ford Proffer, Beau Proffer, Jane Proffer and Selah Morris; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bryar Morris and Sibby Morris; his brother Bob G. Scott (Patsy) of Maize; his nephew Kip Scott (Jody); his niece Jill Hoffman (Phil); and his cousin John Petty of Nashville, TN..
