He was predeceased by: his parents, John Guffey and Ruth Guffey (McGuire); and his siblings, Perry Guffey, Johnnie Guffey and Bonnie Mae Hummingbird.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Patricia Guffey; his children, Randa Marie, Mary Ruth, Leslie Renee and Randall K. Guffey II; and his sisters, Bettie Morrison and JoAnn Shaw. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
