Virginia Ann Kinderknecht Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ann Kinderknecht of Quinter, Kansas, born in Hays, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Billinger and Francis Billinger; her husband Bob; her brother Don Billinger; her son Larry Kinderknecht; and her son-in-law Larry Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Cox of Ellis, KS and Don Kinderknecht of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Emily (Jordan Mattheyer) of Ellis and Ethan (Britny Cox) of Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Ava Mattheyer and Mallory Cox. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home (901 Main St, Quinter, KS 67752). A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home - Quinter (901 Main St, Quinter, KS 67752). Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (202 Cottonwood St, Park, KS 67751). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials made out to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Ellis Good Samaritan Center.
