He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wertz and Pearl Wertz; his brother-in-law Lawrence Clayton; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Wertz. He is survived by: his wife Ronda Wertz of Quinter; his sons, Brad (Kirsten) and Todd (Ricki); his grandchildren, Matthias (Cassie), Blaine, Corey, Keegan, Aiden, Kimberly of Quinter, Liberty of Quinter, Autumn of Quinter and Jillian of Quinter; his great grandchildren, Liam and Lauren Wertz of Quinter; and his siblings, Etta Clayton, Ivan Wertz (Edna) and Wanda Lutz (John).
