We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence Leiby III of Quinter, Kansas. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Lawrence Leiby III to show support.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Larry Leiby I. (L. J.). He is survived by: his mothers, Emily Leiby of Quinter, KS and Summer Leiby (Byington) of Oberlin, KS.; and his siblings, Philip, Abigail, Norah and Tucker. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Quinter Jr/Sr High School Library and Band. Donations may be sent to Schmitt Funeral Home, 901 Main St Quinter KS 67752.

A candle has been lit

“I met LJ at camp he was one of my close friends he was always nice and kind to others I think about him everyday camp this year was not the same without him he was always so happy at camp he would always be the the first to answer questions about the Bible and loved the rock climbing wall he will be deeply and forever missed but is in a better place we had to learn the books of the Bible at camp in order to get breakfast I didn’t know them but LJ helped me learn them so I could eat”
