It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert A. Steinike of Quinter, Kansas, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert A. Steinike, Sr. and Alma Steinike (Dieckmann); his spouse Jewell Embree; his son Paul Steinike; and his siblings, Pauline Teague, Katherine Koeller, Leona Leonard, Bernice Dorzweiler and Elmer Steinike.
He is survived by: his children, David Steinike (Jan) and Susan Wempe (John); his grandchildren, Jennifer Deines, Elizabeth Hibbard (Joseph), Jesse Deines (Danyelle) and Samuel Steinike (Senzen); and his stepchildren, Charles Packard (Rose), Debra Metzger (Randall) and Brian Packard (Annette). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
