He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Mader and Mary Mader (Basgall); his wife Esther Kinderknecht; his siblings, Ray, Sylvanius, Herbert, Mary, Hilda, Armella, Josie and Angie; his grandson Brian; and his great grandchild Gabriel.
He is survived by: his children, Rodger Mader (Barb) of Hoxie, KS, Kirby Mader (Rita) of Quinter, KS, Dennis Mader (Edna) of Collyer, KS, Deb Balluch (Randy) of WaKeeney, KS, Janice Porter (Bob) of Derby, KS and Greg Mader (Becky) of Quinter, KS; and his sisters, Lillian McDermitty of Denver, CO and Esther Befort (Jim) of Broomfield, CO.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren.
