David Dewayne Doty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Dewayne Doty of Quenemo, Kansas, born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Lyle and Lois Edith Doty (Mollett); and his siblings, Butch Lyle Doty and Brenda Hernandez. He is survived by: his girlfriend Dorothy Coon; his son Derrick Doty (Kelsey) of Manhattan, Kansas; his stepson Josh Drum (Rose) of Osage City; and his siblings, Kevin Doty (Teresa) of Pomona, Eric Doty (Casey) of Pella, Iowa, Lois C. StandingCloud of Garnett, Katherine Watkins (Raymond) of Ottawa and Karla Doty. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses.
