It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Thomas Briggs of Quenemo, Kansas, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Briggs and Geneva Briggs (Buchtel); his wife Janice Anderson; his son Sam (Whitney); his grandchildren, Nolan and Annie; his daughter Sarah (Matt Reynolds); his grandchildren, Cecily and Robert; his siblings, Helen and Lee (Gerri); and his siblings-in-law, Donna and Curt Nyquist.
Because of Covid concerns, a time for friends and family to share memories and celebrate Carl's life will be held outdoors at the family cabin on Saturday, November 6, from 3 to 5 p. m. Text (620) 341-1592 for directions to the cabin.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Carl's memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, in the hopes that science may someday soon find a cure for neurological diseases, or to Hand in Hand Hospice, for the care and support they give with skill and compassion.
