With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paul Robert Kissel in Protection, Kansas, born in Evansville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis R. Kissel and Dorothy Kissel (Roth); his wife Linda Kissel (Spangler); his brother Warren Kissel; and his granddaughter Makena Baalman.

He is survived by : his children, Kirk Kissel (Gayla), Tina Dickey (Joe), Amy Miller (Brad) and Dayla Baalman (Dave); his grandchildren, Megan McCuiston (Stephen), Kaycee Nelson (Max), Jessica Harris (Taylon), Jalen Dickey (Lindsey), Logan Dickey, Gracyn Rack (Jared), Jenna Miller, Lauryn Miller, Tori Miller, Kaden Baalman and Rylan Baalman; and his siblings, Marlin Kissel (Agnes), Reuben Kissel (Joyce), John Kissel (Carolyn), David Kissel (Barbara), Richard Kissel (Maritta), Wilma Heilman, June Neyhouse, Ruth France and Mary Farney. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Protection Christian Church (107 W Pine St, Protection, KS 67127).
