He is survived by: his wife Susan Strobel of Protection; his daughters, Sheri Darnell (Clint) of Protection, Emily Breit (Jason) of Hays, Amy Gregg (Shane) of Hays and Connie Howard (Jason) of Halstead; his grandchildren, Ashley Darnell-Cox (Daniel), Meghan (Darnell), Stephens (Jose), Austin Darnell, Gretchen Darnell, Maxwell Breit, Ava Breit, Mahala Gregg, Dylan Gregg, Finn Howard, Aunna Howard and Archer Howard; his great grandchildren, Jenna, Jase and John Stephens; and his brother Don Edmonston.
