It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Cloyd McPhail of Protection, Kansas, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marven McPhail and Lillie "Ellen" McPhail (Crane); his sister Virginia Betschart; his siblings-in-law, Mick McMurphy and Sharon McPhail; and his father-in-law Kenneth York.
He is survived by: his wife Dedra; his children, Crystal Smeltzer of Davenport, IA, Michelle Nebel (Cory) of Liberty, MO and Justin McPhail (Crystal); his grandchildren, Kayla, Alec, Chase, Mason, Michelle, Olivia, Hayden and Declan; his great grandchild Theodore; his siblings, Ann McMurphy of Liberal, KS, Deana Leterle of Wichita, KS, Janna Thornton (Richard), David McPhail (Marlyn) and Bruce McPhail (Robin); his mother-in-law Beverly York of Ashland, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Kena Jackson (Darren) and Tom Betschart of Ashland, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
