He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Frank and Vera Alma Dowling (Sims); his spouse Frankie Pauline Clendenen; his daughter Carolyn Sue Dowling; and his siblings, Artie Dowling, Marie Byrd and Cheryl Rollins.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie "Lynn" Dowling of Protection, KS and Paula Bradley (Greg) of Protection, KS; his brother Lee Dowling (Lona) of Arnett, OK; and his grandchildren, Michael Dowling (Trish) of Turpin, OK, Hugh Bradley (Nichole) of Lawrence, KS, Tammie Thronesbery (Dwayne) of Protection, KS and Daniel Bradley (Rachel) of Earlham, IA. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
