It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Irene Rich (Protection, Kansas), who passed away on October 8, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Leroy and Dora Elva Park (Riggle); her son Barry Lee Rich; her grandchildren, Cherlyn Grace Rich and Steven Rich; her son-in-law Jon Sawyers; and her siblings, Clarence, Ray, Alfred Park and Geneva Davis.
She is survived by: her spouse Lawrence Albert Rich; her children, Kay Sawyers of Protection, KS, Larry Rich (Alice) of Protection, KS, Jerry Jay Rich (Sara) of Protection, KS and Randy Rich (Jill) of Manhattan, KS; and her grandchildren, Don Sawyers (Sueann), Regina Bates (Brett), Ron Sawyers (Laura), Tobin Sawyers (Amber), Jeff Rich (Donna), Yvonne Stone (Taylor), Angela Moore (Lane), Lara Boyd (Matthew), Jon Rich (Carrie), Maryn Rich and Carrie Moore. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; twenty-one great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
