He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Wallace "Buck" and Delsie Girk (Davidson) of Virginia; and his brothers, Nyle and Gary Girk. He is survived by: his former wife Terri Herd; his children, Reesa Dionne (Joe) of Plymouth, MN and Wesley Slade; his wife Terena Girk of Protection, KS; his son Slade Girk (Suzie) of Protection, KS; his sister-in-law Charlotte Girk of Protection, KS; his siblings, Ross Girk (Lisa) of Coldwater, KS and Nyla Sherman (Kent) of Ulysses, KS; his sister-in-law Karen Girk of Protection, KS; and his grandchildren, Max, Wyatt Baker of Plymouth, MN, Eli, Isaac, Lyla and Abbie Girk of Protection, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
