Scherer of Quenemo; his parents, Sonja Messick and Kevin Messick of Princeton; his grandparents, Betty, Perry White of Emporia and Mary Weaver of Charles Town; his siblings, Sarah White of Ottawa, Amy Messick of Williamsburg and Kenny Messick (Kali); and his nieces and nephews, Levi Brittingham, Zeneca, John Thomas, Lillian, Greyson, Alex, Alexis, Cody and Autumn.
