She was predeceased by: her mother Jessie Carter (Dunavan) of Rushville, MO. She is survived by: her husband William Laflin; her father James Carter; her siblings, James Carter II, La Forest "Red" Carter and Marietta Duty; her children, Von Laflin and Wendy Laflin; and her grandchildren, Logan Hicks, Aubrey Heckathorn and Troy Laflin. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
