Anna Marie Green Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Marie Green in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Merle and Nellie Starks (Brown); her husband Walter E. Green; and her siblings, Dorman Brown (Martha), Burley Starks (Margarete), Edgar Starks (Hazel), Harvey Starks (Donna), Garland Starks (Dorthy), Howard Lee, Darrel Starks (Charlotte), Letha Schleffer (Glen), Luceil Slifer (Harry) and Lavergn Bastin (Earl).
She is survived by: her children, Anita Kroeker, Nancy Kirkham (Dale), Walter Merl Green (Barbie) and Deanna Wessel; her grandchildren, Randee Jones, Tracy Anderes (Nathan), Alaina Brenner (Travas), Edde Dill, Angel Winward (Chad), Jayce Wessel, Jessica Meyer, Danielle Green (Bart) and Benjamin Walter Green (Tasha); her great grandchildren, Lathe, Raylynn, Tayden, Tannan, Aniaya, Wyatt, Jameson, Ava, Bodhi Walter, Mila, Zadie and Juniper; her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Finney (Charles) and Howard Green (Helen); and her son-in-law Jerry Kroeker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Bennett Alexander Funeral Home (201 Cherry St, Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elmdale Stoehr G. A. R. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Elmdale Cemetery Fund to care for the Christian Church in care of Brown Bennett Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220, Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
