He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dale and Gertrude Ellen Konkel (Rice); his son Johnnie Wayne Konkel; and his siblings, Margaret Davis, Mabel Baker, Marcheta Monaghan, Joann Parker, Fay Konkel, Eddie Konkel, Frank Konkel and Johnny Konkel.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Helen Konkel (Bragg); and his sister Marthena DeGarmo of Nebraska.
