Vera Ann Sims Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2023, at the age of 88, Vera Ann Sims (Pratt, Kansas), born in Okemah, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Black and Margaret Huldy Black (Walls); her husband Bobby Sims; her son Everette Ashcraft; and her siblings, Albert Black, Tommy Black, Merle Whitmire, Goldie Whitmire, Venita Bernett, Hazel Windborn and Patty Parks.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Talarovich, Bobby Steven Sims, Debra Fields and Douglas Ray Sims (Judy); and her sister Ruby Staats of Pratt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Rivercross Hospice or American Cancer Society in care of Larrison Mortuary.
