She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rose and Bertha Rose (Kennedy); her husband Vernon L. Thomas; and her siblings, George Rose, Floren Rose, Ivan Rose, Roy Rose, Iva Dyche, Ann Conklin, Clara Fischer and Irene Rose.

She is survived by: her former husband Clyde Simmons; and her children, Marvin Thomas (Dianne) of Pratt, KS, Marilyn Small of Garden City, KS, Nancy Neelly of Pratt, KS, Honorary and Charles Williams (Pat) of Rexford, KS.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 6 step great great grandchildren.
