She was predeceased by: her parents, William J O'Brien and Sarah O'Brien (Jones); her husband Charlie Hammonds; her siblings, Bill O'Brien, Ralph O'Brien, Jerry O'Brien, Jim O'Brien, Margaret Roe, Myrna Shanley, Judy Conradson, Mary Spivey, Pauline Helgeson and Etta Nixon; and her great grandchild Taylor Renee Cole.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela K Seyfert (Ernie) of Pratt, Charles P Hammonds (Jana) of Westville, Patricia Ann Vopat (Gene) of Hays, Mark A Hammonds (Deborah) of Kiln, Renee Snyder (Tim) of Shawnee, Larry E Hammonds (Brenda) of Lindsborg, Angela D Catt of Topeka, Carla M Capansky (Lee) of Medicine Lodge, Tracy R Johnson of Wichita and Jerry Hammonds of Wichita; and her siblings, Edward O'Brien (Bev) of Humble, Texas and Kathryn Rohr (Tom) of Arlington Heights, Illinois. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren.
