It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Earl McPherson of Pratt, Kansas, born in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Irene McPherson (Marrs); his children, Mike McPherson (Karen) and Stephanie Sands; and his siblings, Raymond McPherson, Alta Howry and Juanita Keyes.
He is survived by: his son Herb McPherson (Kristin) of Pratt; his brother Joe Swanda of Edmond, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Jason McPherson (Vanessa), Jennifer Smith (Clayton), Lesli Baca (Jamie), Kyle McPherson (Lara), Zach Widener, Zeke McPherson (Emily), Hannah Barilla (Cody) and Leah Befort (Trent). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Skyline School Foundation or First Southern Baptist Church in care of Larrison Mortuary.
