It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Boots (Pratt, Kansas), who passed away on May 25, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. "Fritz" and Hazel I. Wehling (Thomas); and her brothers, Lloyd, Clyde (Ruth) and Richard Wehling.

She is survived by: her children, Diana Nixon (Jerry) of Wichita, Bradley Boots (Alicia) of Kansas City, Missouri and Brian Boots (Angela) of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ryan Nixon, Grant Nixon (Courtney), Aaron Boots (Diane Schmit), David Boots, Dayna Boots and Finley Boots; her great grandchild Riley C. Nixon; her siblings, Darrel Wehling (Rose) of Pratt and Beth Rose (Merle) of Pratt; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Wehling of Hutchinson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
