He was predeceased by: his parents, John Orris and Marguerite Marie Bucher (Roy); and his siblings, Duane Edward Bucher (Ed), Neida Marie Dunn and Marguerite Estelle Grimes (Susie).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Bucher of Haviland, KS; his sons, Orris Jay Bucher of Glendale, AZ and Wesley Bucher (Shawna) of Dalhart, TX; his grandchildren, Stephanie Tapia (Raul) of Phoenix, AZ, Jessica Bucher of Powder Springs, GA, Jackson Bucher of Powder Springs, GA and Waylon Bucher of Florrisant, CO; his brothers, Jon Bucher (Susan) of Searcy, AR, Dan Bucher of Wichita, KS and James "Jim" Bucher of Arkansas City, KS; and his aunt Elamae Roy of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Haviland United Methodist Church or Haviland American Legion in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
