He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Melvin and Aliene Marie Murphy (Oyler); and his siblings, Eugene Murphy, Leon Murphy, Kenny Murphy, Bill Murphy, Charlene Gowens and Dixie Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carole Murphy (Gibson); his children, Robyn Murphy of Topeka, Kelley Murphy of Isabel and Justin Murphy of Isabel; and his brother Bennie Murphy (Eileene) of Isabel.
