She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lannom and Zeda Lannom (Martin); her husbands, John "Jay" Hightower and Billy R. Smith; and her sister Ruby Weatherly.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrie Mitchell (Johnny) of Myrtle Beach, Toni McNabb (Terry) of Kansas City, Sandy Frahm (Steve) of Ashland, Karen Householter (Dwayne Rosenbaum) of Pratt and Lisa Bergrud (Jen Fuller) of Kansas City, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Mariko Geffert (Chris), Nicole Jones (Ryan), Shauntel Minks (Chad), April Israel (Jacob), Brian Frahm (Amy), Andy Frahm (Anna), Kristin Johnson (Adam), Michael Frahm, Ashley Householter, Erika Householter, Meagan Householter and Luke Bergrud. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
