She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhea Moore and Thelma Doris Somers (Davis); and her sister Lola Jeanne Heath. She is survived by: her former husband Harry W. Barrett; her children, Terry Allen (David) of Manhattan, Sandee Bates (Douglas) of Sparta, Tennessee, Kent Barrett (Karen) of Pratt, Richard Barrett (Koleen) of Colby and Max Barrett of Pratt, Kansas; and her siblings, K. Ronald Somers (Nancy) of Idaho, Joyce Anne Barnes of Warrensburg and Monice Laray Somers of Russell, Kansas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A Memorial has been established with the Waldo Senior Center.
