He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphons Herman and Bernardine Elisabeth Voss (Rottering); his granddaughter Courtney Dawn Windholz; and his siblings, Alphons, Doris Atchison and Jimmy Voss.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Voss (Rose); his children, Diana Howell of Pratt, John Voss of Hutchinson, Anita Rojas (Jason) of Pratt, Ken Voss (Kim) of Mulvane, Steven Voss (Rebekka) of Hillsboro, Don Voss (Kasey) of Iuka, Lana Windholz (Tom Day) of Bucklin and Kristen Wilt (Chad Houser) of Towanda; his grandchildren, Amanda Howell, Jerimy Howell (Tiffany), Jory Voss, Jarid Rojas, Samantha Rojas, Ryan Rojas (Jazzy), Kelsie Voss, Kylie Simon (Colby), Macie Duncan (Austin), Garrett Tankersley, Grayce Tankersley, Collin Voss, Chandler Voss, Lauren Grant (Aaron), Nicole Shriver (Jared), Megan Meyers (Tyler Tresner), Kaylee Windholz (Tim Champagne), Jocelyn Roberts and Chaten Houser; his siblings, Harold Voss (Norma) of Pratt, Joyce Korth of Pratt, Virginia "Jen" Lackey (Charles) of Amarillo, Ralph Voss (Gale) of Pratt and Marilyn Talbott (Merle) of Wichita; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Voss of Pratt, Marlene Bortz (Norman) of Texas, Rosemary Cisco (Jim) of Cunningham, Rosalie Spade of Medicine Lodge and LeRoy Panek of Cunningham. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (332 N Oak St, Pratt, KS 67124). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
