He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Brehm of Haviland, KS; his children, Linda Ballard (Karl) of Haviland, KS, Doug Jones (Marla) of Auburn, NE and Robert Jones (Antonia Soukup) of Columbus, NE; his daughters-in-law, Susan Pease (Dave) and Candy Jones; his brothers, Dan Surber and Dave Surber of California; and his grandchildren, Matt Ballard (Kami) of Haviland, KS, Marshall Ballard (Traci) of Haviland, KS, Morgan Ballard (Laura) of Pratt, KS, Mallorie Scott (Michael) of Haviland, KS, Kelsea Blevins (Brian) of Superior, NE, Trent Jones (Greta) of Lombard, IL, Tristann Schaefer (Jake) of Columbus, NE, Tiffany Darling of Atlanta, GA, Jarod Jones of Muskegon, MI, Echo Bell (Leroy) of Lincoln, NE and Mike.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Larrison Mortuary (300 Country Club Rd, Pratt, KS 67124). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
Memorials can be made to the Haviland American Legion, Cyrus T. Gause Post 157, in care of Larrison Mortuary.
