She was predeceased by: her father Lester L.; her siblings, Wayne Smith and Virginia Helget; and her stepmother Thaddie Smith (Hurtig). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Gawith; her daughters, Jennifer Inslee (Dave) of Pratt, Kansas, Kimberly Staats (Shaphan) of Pratt, Kansas and Sheila Gawith (Wes Wright) of Pratt, Kansas; her sisters, Joanne Fitzgerald of Boscobel and Deanna Wier of Mapleton, Kansas; her grandchildren, Justin Gilmore (Rickele), Jarod Gilmore (Katy), Dominique Pfizenmaier (Kyle), Danielle Lambert (Caleb), Kenneth Elisha Staats, Ty Staats, Noah Staats, Kamry Hoy (Cody), Kyra Johnson and J'air Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Amylia, Lakynn, Baley, Blakely, Charlotte, Asher, Abram, Jake, Ryan, Nicole, Koda and Kenna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Larrison Mortuary, Ltd. (300 Country Club Rd, Pratt, KS 67124). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Delphos Cemetery (998 KS-41, Delphos, KS 67436).
Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice or Pratt Area Humane Society in care of Larrison Mortuary.
