He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; and his daughter Shari Garris. He is survived by: his children, Debra Martinez (Rocky) of Mesquite Texas and John Wendall Lewis Jr. (Jack); his wife Selena of Tyler Texas; and his brother Jim Lewis of Pratt. He is also survived by three children and three grand grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers feel free to make a small donation to Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
