He is survived by: his daughters, Dedra Brant (Bo) of Pratt and Jill Dauner (Ben Jacobson); and his sister Louanne Miller of Wichita.

The family suggests that in continuing in John's tradition, memorials be made to Pratt Area Humane Society in care of Larrison Mortuary.
