He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph, Sr. and Thelma Eileen Meuten (Waters); and his sister Judy Mylock. He is survived by: his wife Sue Elayne Meuten (Swonger); his children, Christine Eyestone of Wyoming, Matt Meuten (Ruth) of Ogdensburg, Charles Meuten (Dawn) of Ogdensburg, Steve Meuten (Tina) of Jacksonville, Rosa Valentine (Gary) of Warsaw, Dustin Meuten of Wichita, Brandon Meuten (Angie) of Wichita and Chelsea Snyder (Kendall) of Wichita; and his brother Donald Meuten (Virginia) of Cripple Creek, Virginia. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
