He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Havens and Easter Havens (Hutches); his wife Ulene Havens; his daughter Judi Jensen; his stepson-in-law Steve Fuhrken; his daughter-in-law Velda Havens; and his stepdaughter Carol King.
He is survived by: his children, Judith and John David; his stepdaughter Diane Fuhrken of Lenexa; his son David Havens of Pratt; his son-in-law Reverend Richard King of Davenport, Iowa; and his daughter Deborah Cochran (J. E.) of Caldwell. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
